Fund for Shared Insight is a collaborative fund to improve philanthropy, driven by the vision of greater social impact through openness, change, and transparency in the foundation ecosystem. To communicate this fresh perspective, our team crafted a visual identity to communicate the feel and emotion behind their brand. The end result was a thoughtfully designed responsive website, welcoming and open visuals, and an inspired brand platform for vivid communications. We continue to support them with creative services for presentations, event marketing materials, and website support, relieving their team by handling all aspects of creative services.

Offering everything from travel guidebooks and cookbooks to novels and children’s picture books, ThingsAsian Press brings to life the vast kaleidoscope of cultures throughout Asia as interest in the region grows exponentially around the world. To present their growing library, we initially delivered a website that could grow with their business on a platform that vividly showcases their collection. Today, our longstanding relationship with ThingsAsian Press has turned a client-vendor relationship into a true partnership as we are called on to handle a variety of their creative needs, from business cards to book design.
Rise University Preparatory
Services: Brand identity, website, presentations, collateral, photography
Rise University Preparatory is a new independent school that aims to bring a rigorous academic program to the Bayview, a historically low-income neighborhood in San Francisco, that nurtures both mind and character. They needed to inspire trust and hope to the community and to those who would become supporters of the program. To help them achieve just that, we created a brand identity, a website, and presentation materials that would collectively tell the vision and spirit of this challenging but rewarding enterprise that aims to transform one of the most underserved corners of the city.

We have worked closely with Khalil to define design elements – from brand marks to CD covers – that manifest his personal and inimitable evolution.

Unisource Development is unique in their space in that they have deep personal ties to all of their projects even though they are spread across the country. In the early stages of development of The 955, they came to us to help them tell their story as a family-owned business whose vision was to honor the history of the property as well as the neighborhood in which they had decades of history. The result was a website with all the polish of a modern, luxurious development combined with the warm glow of a family that cares about the neighborhood.
Old Skool Cafe
Sector: Restaurant, nonprofit
On the surface, Old Skool Cafe is a jazz-themed supper club serving fantastic soul food in the Bayview district of San Francisco. Look deeper, however, and you’ll see a faith-based nonprofit organization changing lives and reducing violence in the neighborhood by offering work experience and support to at-risk youth. They needed a new website to tell their rich story while promoting their business with a visual design that would celebrate their cuisine and cultural themes. We expanded the website’s capabilities to go beyond reservations for dining, giving voice to their youth through videos and extending opportunities to apply for their program online.
Shipyard Trust for the Art
The Shipyard Trust for the Arts supports one of the largest artists communities in the country while creating programs that connect their work to their neighborhood and beyond. Their challenge to us was to create a bold website that would elevate their presence on the web and intrigue visitors to learn more. Our solution was to borrow aesthetic cues from the industrial setting of a former naval shipyard in which they are housed, bringing to life the vibrant creative activity abuzz in hundreds of studios.
